DESCRIPTION AND TIME :

SWIMMING: 7.6 kms (152 lengths of 50m), time limit: 4 hours
BIKE: 360 km (transition (with 1st partial lap) from the 11.25 km swimming pool + 40 laps of 8.752 km), time limit 24 hours (swimming included) or Friday 2 p.m.
RUN: 84 kms (64 laps of 1,330 kms)
Total time limit: 43 hours or Saturday 9:00 a.m.
CHANGE RULES FOR RELAY TEAM ATHLETES :
Relay of 3 or 4 athletes.
Swimming: After each km; Bike: after each tour; Run: after each round.
It's up to you to find the best strategy for your team !!!
But… every member of the team has to do all sports.
It is forbidden for the same athlete to do all the swimming alone, the bike alone, the run alone.
It’s a relay !!!!
PROGRAM from Wed 28 june to Sun 2 July 2023 :
Wed - 4 p.m.: Collection of documents and recovery of bibs. Location: “Bretzel village”
Wed - 5 p.m.: Briefing (Fr/En), Presentation of the athletes
Wed - 7 p.m.: Meal for athletes and team members. (Included for athletes. Book meals for team members)
Thu - 1 p.m.: Opening of the bike park, drop-off and check of bikes. Location: Colmar Nautical Stadium
Thu - 2 p.m.: Start of the DOUBLE continuous (solo and relay)
Fri - 10 a.m.: Arrival of the first of the Double continuous (solo and relay) Venue: “Bretzel village” room SRC Fencing
Sat- 09h: End of races (DOUBLE continues solo and relay)
Sun - 11:30 a.m.: QUINTUPLE, TRIPLE, DOUBLE "PARTY" (solo and relay), Marathon challenge, 24h run and VIP races: Ceremony, award ceremony, dinner dance (Book meals for teams, marathon runners, 24h run and VIP races) Location: Bretzel village.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
Athletes must have completed a "half-ironman" distance (or a comparable event of 6 hours minimum effort) between 2019 and 2023. We can verify that your information is correct!
Give us your estimated time for swimming, in order to organize the lanes as well as possible.
You must complete and return the "IUTA Regulation Agreement" (consent form) and "Release" (WAIVER). (You can download these documents in the "mandatory documents" section of this WEB site or directly on the online registration form).
Any other documents submitted cannot guarantee your participation.
You must provide a medical certificate of "no contraindication" to the practice of ultra triathlon in competition (downloadable on the online registration form or in the "mandatory documents" section of this WEB site). The FFTRI license is not enough.
You must also provide a blood cell test that is less than 14 days old from the date of your start of the race.
You must be at least 20 years old at the start of the competition.
You must have read the "BOOK" (regulation of the BUT).
PRICES FROM 01/08/2022 to 20/06/2023:
Attention, to the prices of the competitions, our service provider adds management fees during the payment, for the payment in CB. Despite our efforts, payment by bank transfer is no longer possible. We're sorry. The payment in CB has become mandatory to subscribe to the insurance which is very complete. We are working on a solution to avoid these fees, but at the moment we have no choice.
These fees which are not for the Bretzel Team, they amount to 2.5% for the ultra tri and 5% for the other competitions.
From 01/08 to 15/11: 600 €
From 16/11 to 31/12 : 700 €
From 01/01 to 20/06 : 750 €

Briefing meal (for QUINTUPLE,, TRIPLE, DOUBLE (solo and relay))

· A space for an assistance tent of 3m x 3m for solo or 6m x 6m for relays.
· Refueling on the courses.
· Physiotherapist from Tuesday noon to Saturday.
· Free motorhome places (10 places maximum 300 m from the "bretzel village").
· Free camping places around the “pretzel village”. (To book)
· Electricity available for service tents and motorhomes.
· Bretzel shuttles, between the Bretzel village, les Rives de la Fecht and the nautical stadium.
· Starter package with surprise gift.
· Podiums: The first 3 scratches in all categories.

A meal service is available. All meals for team members are not included. You must reserve them in the registration form. You have up to 7 days before the start of the event to make your reservation on your registration form. You can change your registration online on "SPORKRONO" as many times as you need (after paying the main registration amount).
Daily meal package (included only for quintuples), but possibility of ordering this service for all athletes of all races, as well as team members.
A bicycle repair service is available in the BRETZEL VILLAGE. The amount of the service is to be paid directly to the mechanic.
A refreshment bar will be at your disposal.

Rental of a 3m x 3m racing tent for solo athletes (6mx6m for relays) traveling by plane or without a tent in their possession.
